These terms govern your use of GalleyForge (the "Service"). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to these terms. If you're using the Service on behalf of an organization, you're agreeing on its behalf as well.

1. The Service

GalleyForge converts raw manuscript documents into formatted, template-specific output files based on templates you select. Access is account-based; accounts are created by an administrator rather than public self-registration.

2. Accounts and credits

Each generation of a document consumes credits from your account balance, at the rate shown for that template. Credits are added to your account by your administrator or through a purchase, as described in our Payment Policy. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential and for all activity under your account.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Upload content you don't have the right to use or process.
• Attempt to disrupt, reverse-engineer, or gain unauthorized access to the Service.
• Use the Service to generate or distribute unlawful, infringing, or harmful content.
• Share your account credentials with people outside your organization.

4. Your content

You retain full ownership of the manuscripts you upload and the documents generated from them. We claim no rights over your content beyond what's needed to process your generation request and deliver the result to you.

5. Service availability

We aim to keep the Service reliable and available, but we don't guarantee uninterrupted access. Maintenance, updates, or issues beyond our control may occasionally affect availability.

6. Credits and refunds

Credit purchases and refund conditions are described in our Payment Policy, which forms part of these terms.

7. Limitation of liability

The Service is provided "as is." While we take care in formatting your documents accurately, you're responsible for reviewing generated output before submission or publication. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the Service.

8. Termination

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or engage in abusive use of the Service. You may stop using the Service at any time.

9. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect means you accept the updated terms.
